Guy A. Cellier
President and founder Guy Cellier, Ph.D., has worked
over 20 years in specialized forestry; including forest economics,
plantation development and resource analysis. Eight years of focused
experience with native and Eucalyptus on Hawaii Island. Recent
accomplishments include:
- Transformation of 25,000 acres of abandoned sugarcane
land on the Big Island in Hawaii into a short-rotation Eucalyptus
plantation.
- Eight years of overall responsibility for all management, technical
forestry and client land expansion selection for the 25,000 acres.
- Native plant reforestation and land management for Kamehameha
Schools and the Queen Emma Foundation on an additional 160,000
acres on the Big Island.
- Founded Nursery Solutions, a 2 million plant per
year nursery capable of both sowing Eucalyptus, native Hawaiian
seedlings and landscaping trees
- Rotary International, Past President, North Hawaii Rotary
Club 2000-2001
- Hawaii Forest Industry Association, Board of Directors 1999-2000
- Outstanding Achievement Award in Conservation Program Application
from the Mauna Kea Soil and Water Conservation District (Cooperator-of-the-year
